Summary

Researched and produced by the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) in consultation with major New South Wales Aboriginal organizations and land councils, this book is both a guide and an alternative social history told through 50 places of significance to the city's Indigenous people. The sites and their accompanying stories and photographs, evoke Sydney's ancient past and celebrate the living Aboriginal culture of the present.
