Great book for understanding economics better. I like how this book puts in perspective how things are for business at this day in age. Also this book is so cheap compared to my other textbooks!

Common Wealth Economics for a Crowded Planet: 5 out of 5 stars based on 1 user reviews.

Summary

The world stands at a crossroads. Either we continue on our path of environmental degradation, rapid population growth, and vast populations trapped in extreme poverty-or we choose international cooperation and sustainable development and avoid the cascade of global crises that will surely result if we do not. In this vital book, Jeffrey D. Sachs, one of the world's most respected economists, provides an analysis of our planet's plight that is deeply informed, profoundly disturbing, yet ultimately optimistic. Drawing on years of experience as economic advisor to governments and organizations across the globe, Sachs presents a new paradigm that offers practical solutions-and genuine hope for a crowded planet.
