Summary

For courses in criminal procedure.
This package includes the Revel™ access card and loose-leaf version.

Basic introductory approach to criminal procedure, with a real-world slant
Revel Criminal Procedure: From First Contact to Appeal is a comprehensive introduction to criminal procedure, from the point where individuals first come into contact with the police, all the way through to appeal. Presupposing no legal expertise, the text connects criminal procedure cases to their real-world implications through innovative pedagogy, such as decision-making exercises that position students as judge. The 6th edition adds Supreme Court decisions through the 2016—17 term and analyzes their impact on criminal and legal processes.

Revel is Pearson’s newest way of delivering our respected content. Fully digital and highly engaging, Revel replaces the textbook and gives students everything they need for the course. Informed by extensive research on how people read, think, and learn, Revel is an interactive learning environment that enables students to read, practice, and study in one continuous experience — for less than the cost of a traditional textbook.
