Elemer Hankiss is Director of the Institute of Sociology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and a Senior Scientist of The Gallup Organization. He is a former fellow of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington and the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences in Stanford
