Author Biography

Philip Geer, Ed.M. is an educator with over 30 years of experience teaching English literature and composition in the United States and abroad, including Singapore, where he was selected for his expertise in composition to help develop a nationwide program to improve the writing skills of college-bound students. He has also authored many textbooks and SAT and GRE preparation books. Through his books, classes, and workshops he has helped thousands of students to improve their writing skills and to achieve superior scores on the verbal and writing sections of university entrance examinations.

Mr. Geer is also the director of Mentaurs Educational Consultancy (www.mentaurs.com), which prepares students for the SAT and the GRE.

About the Publisher
In the 1930s, Manuel H. Barron opened a bookstore in Brooklyn, New York.
