Summary

One of history's most acclaimed and successful magicians provides clear and concise explanations of more than 100 tricks and illusions. Alexander Herrmann — better known as Herrmann the Great — performed these very feats in countless sold-out stage shows around the world, when he was among the era's highest-paid performers. His classic compendium offers timeless tricks that will liven up the acts of magicians of all ages and all skill levels.
Originally published in 1916, Herrmann the Great's Wizard Manual presents an extraordinary number of ever-popular illusions including 90 sleight of hand, 24 coin, and 27 card tricks, and much more, plus instruction on mind reading and the basics of ventriloquism. Vintage line drawings throughout the book add an extra panache to Herrmann's coaching, which features helpful tips on stage presence and performance.
