I've used a number of anatomy books in my years of teaching, but Hole's Anatomy & Physiology has been the most consistent in the quality of their updates. Clear illustrations, easy to understand language and brevity are all traits of this series of books. Overall, the book is solid and each revision does add marginal value at best, but older editions keep getting harder and harder to find.
