Author Biography

Gregory B. Weeks is associate professor of political science and director of Latin American Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is the author of The Military and Politics in Postauthoritarian Chile and U.S. and Latin American Relations. John R. Weeks is professor of geography and director of the International Population Center at San Diego State University. He is the author of hundreds of articles as well as several books, including Population: An Introduction to Concepts and Issues, now in its eleventh edition.
