Summary
Lunar Pioneers is a sequel to Launch Out, and is also a science-based novel about lunar industrialization and settlement. The first book was about humans migrating offworld in the 21st century, and that story is continued in this present text about space enterprises. Set in A.D. 2050, Lunar Pioneers tells us what happened to those people launched to the moon some forty years before in Launch Out. Some of the original Global Space Trust's technauts have died, others have returned to Earth, and many of the characters are now senior citizens of LUNA WORLD, the new designation adopted by its inhabitants.
