Author Biography
Pilar Dominguez Prats is Associate Professor of Social Movements and Political Thought at the University of Las Palmas, Canary Islands. She is a past President of the International Oral History Association and the author of two books on oral histories of Spanish women in exile in Mexico as well as one edited collection on oral history in Spain.
María Eugenia Cardenal de la Nuez is Lecturer in Social Structure and Social Change, Inequality, and Social Exclusion and Qualitative Research Methods at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. Her main research interest focuses on life transitions as a structural and structured process and also a biographically experienced process.
