"Useful, sucks that it is extra from book"  February 1, 2015

"MyMathLab is really useful in helping you with math. If you're the kind of person that loves math and wonders why some people think it's hard than you probably will find it to be a waste of time. For the rest of us, however, it's like having a tutor to help you run through the problems. I think that for most people it really is very valuable. Don't buy it used! The code can only be used once, and some sources sell used ones that appear new. Don't trust any seller that makes such a claim."

Struggling with math skills has often been a problem for me. Throughout my life and taking math courses I often seemed like the odd man out. My Math Lab – stand alone access card gave me the courage to get on the right track while learning mathematic skills and statistics. The animated video clips and learning aides were very interesting and easy to understand. It was no longer a foreign language to me but brought down to terms that were easily understandable and quite enjoyable. Accessing the book was also very self-explanatory. The feedback tool was also greatly appreciated. When questions were answered wrong an immediate tool let me know what went wrong and why the questions were incorrect. This not only helped me right at the moment of learning but also for future problems that I encountered while studying mathematics. My Math Lab made learning very easy as I was able to go at my own pace allowing the skills needed to move forward with some of the more challenging problems. It also gave a personalized study plan that was crafted just for me by using my test results. I have found that when taking courses we sometimes can feel left behind and out of the learning loop. My Math Lab took away this sense of feeling lost because I could pace myself with the tasks and move forward once I felt comfortable. The multimedia aides throughout this book provided a great deal of entertainment and learning options that help to make the tedious task of mathematics more realistic and helpful. My Math Lab – Stand alone access is a must for anyone trying to perfect their math skills.
