Organic Chemistry

"This book is really complicated and boring. Organic chemistry is frequently one of the hardest courses college students have to take, and I don't think this book helps with that. The material is dense and could be written better. The text and pictures can be difficult to understand. Sometimes the subject material finally starts to click” when taking orgo 2, but I thought it was especially difficult during the first class. I think there's too much emphasis on memorization instead of actually comprehending the detailed topics. I found synthesis and stereochemistry to be some the most difficult concepts covered. Overall, the book is probably average. It's hard to make organic chemistry really exciting or present it in an innovate, clear manner."
