This textbook is an extremely well laid out, exhaustive guide for basically everything you need to know to prepare to shoot professionally. The textbook begins by describing the jobs in a set light crew, then goes on to tools and gear, which is mostly lights and their rigging, but software is also included. There are diagrams and advanced techniques here that will have the beginner flummoxed, but press on and come back to what confuses you and you'll find that you'll have absorbed more than you think. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a comprehensive guide, reference and generally an interesting and informative text. Ecampus provided excellent customer service, therefore, I will, without a doubt purchase books from this company in the future.
