Dominic Couzens is a British birder and writer specializing in avian and natural history. He contributes regularly to Bird Watching and BBC Wildlife magazines and is also a professional field trip guide. He is the author of A Bird a Day and lives in Dorset. Madeleine Floyd is an artist with a particular passion for wildlife who works mainly in oil, watercolor, and ink. She studied at the Courtauld Institute of Art and Camberwell College of Art and Design. She is the author and illustrator of Birdsong and is based in London.
